Principal teachers and front desk are very rude and strict on the kids and parents they also still pop the kids as a punishment. On a few occasions my son and daughter have gotten hurt at school and they didn't even call to tell us.
They need to get it together they should work like cyfair district. They work like old ways not worth taking your children here front staff is rude.
NES is a great school! There is a heavyset rude lady at the front desk who is rude to you and your children if you are not white and they do not always make you feel welcomed but they do have discipline and structer and most importantly they do try to keep God in school which is not something you find very often now these days and that is important. They actually teach your little ones not just pass them to get rid of them like some of the other schools I hear about. The teachers do not get the credit they deserve they have a hard job but they are good at what they do!!!
Great school district
My daughter loves Needville Elementary and does well. She is in 3rd grade and has been there since kindergarten. The school is ran with strict discipline, and old school small town values in mind so if that's not what you're about then you may not want to enroll you're child there. The school district is one of the best districts in the area for a reason. Yes the staff and many parents (mostly moms) are cliquish at NES but once you meet people that isn't an issue. We are not originally from Needville but from Rosenberg and we we moved to Needville for the schools. If certain people have negative experience at NES maybe it was because of a certain teacher their child had some of the lady's have been teaching there forever and are pretty old school but there are a lot of new young teachers coming in now with new ways of teaching which helps the learning experience.
